Full of life… since ancient times

Looking back to Roman times… the area where Zaton Holiday Resort today stands used to be the port of the neighbouring town of Nin, called Aenona back then. Furthermore, the foundations of a Roman Villa Rustica have been found on the beach close to the Beach Restaurant & Bar Mareta and have served as a source of inspiration for the said open-plan restaurant as well as for the Sanitary facility nr. 3 within the campsite.

In touch with history… and nature

Cherishing what once was… and still is. Apart from paying tribute to historical legacy, the resort strives to preserve the natural heritage as well. After all, the area is widely known for its clear sea and lush Mediterranean greenery.

Nature we grow with… these words represent the eco project of the resort, but also environmental awareness. You can learn about nature around you at the specially designed eco spots. More recently, the resort created a linear park and started a reforestation project with the aim to restore the vegetation previously damaged in a storm. The project named ‘It takes time to grow’ within the linear park presents to the guests in an attractive way the amount of time necessary for an Aleppo pine tree to grow.

Zaton’s very own Kalelarga

Did you know that the central street at the resort bears the name of the most famous historical street in Zadar - Kalelarga? This is where you can grab fresh pastry in the morning, buy a souvenir at the Zatonino Gift Shop, stop by a restaurant for dinner, have a haircut, get the information about the animation program and more...

In addition to the laundry at the sanitary facilities for camping guests, there is a self-service laundry in the apartment zone as well. Arriving by motor-caravan or electric car? There is a service station and a charging station available at the resort. Are you a boating enthusiast? Then you can use the moorings for small and medium-sized boats in Zaton.
