Kornati Islands National Park

Silba Island

Small in size, the island hides some of the most beautiful beaches on the Adriatic, and is surrounded by the cleanest and bluest sea. With over 2,570 hours of sunshine per year, a wonderful climate and an indescribably turquoise sea, Silba is a hidden gem that will delight you with its uniqueness and hospitality. It is also called the Pedestrian Island by the locals since no cars or motorcycles are permitted.

Take a deep breath and let the nature around you inspire you! Primeval beech forests in Paklenica are inscribed on the UNESCO’s List and that is not all since the national park is an exceptional wonder of nature with geomorphological shapes, caves and canyons as well as rich biodiversity.

Krka National Park

Let every member of the family get in touch with nature - walk barefoot along the trails, admire the fish in transparent water, take a relaxing boat ride to Visovac island with the Franciscan monastery, swim by Skradinski buk and Roški slap waterfalls. This excursion usually also includes the visit to Šibenik, a city known for its St. James` Cathedral - UNESCO's World Cultural Heritage Site, and its fortresses open to the public.

Another location within the region that will keep the whole family happily busy and edutained.

It is one of the top birdwatching spots in Croatia, so spending some time at the lake observing the diverse bird life will relax you and prepare you for the activities that follow and that include discovering the beauties of the lake by cycling, hiking, and kayaking. At the same time, kids of all ages can test their climbing skills at the Lake Vrana Adventure Park. Visiting the Kamenjak viewpoint for the spectacular views of the lake and the islands is a must. For a touch of history, on your way back, stop by at Maškovića han, the westernmost monument of secular Turkish architecture in Europe.
